Chow Pow is 14 years FREE from Drug Addiction

Kirk Jardine aka Chow Pow

I almost died but there are angels among us

Congratulations to Kirk Jardine aka Chow Pow aka Bluie Max many know his growing Glory but they dont know his story: On January 6. He recently marked 14 of being sober and completely off of Weed and Cocaine use... He is a shining example that nothing is impossible with God. This former Christ church Secondary Boy could have been dead because of his choices back then but another human who looked beyond his faults and saw his NEED did an intervention. Thank God! Now Chow Pow has moved from smoking weed at age 11 and cocaine there after to being a FREE, independent man with an enviable family and is one of the more sought after personalities for entertainment. He has become a spokes person for GT&T. "i had many low points Mondale But i most remember using so much Cocaine that i passed out on the pavement and woke up to find that someone had spat cold on my chest and i did not have a cold," he said. recalled that eh almost ate out of garbage and was the equivalent of what some refer to as a 'junkie.' But God sent a human angel and here i am today because of God in a human who not only spoke to be out of concern but he looked beyond my faults and saw my need...
The now famous comedian with hopes of taking Guyanese comedy worldwide is advising youths that they should not believe the hype about using weed nor drugs. he said sometimes persons who make those choices need people to not criticize and cast them out but to listen and get them help. " i remembered the human angel who told me while on the Job at Banks DIH, he said you need help...think about it and then call me when you are ready." it took him two almost three weeks before he realized that he had to make a choice to save his own life so he reached out to the life line offered and with the payments being made he entered the Salvation army's rehabilitation programme and while he wanted to quit many times he had a number to call and no matter what the hour his human angel was on the other end encouraging him to stick with his objectives. "There are angels among us and thank God mine came at the right time and he still calls me every now and then to continuously encourage me plus my wife and kids have given me a new leash on life too." He said however his only hurt is that his relationship with his son from his previous relationship is strained because of the choice that he made to become a slave to Weed and Cocaine. He remains optimistic that that will change with God's help. "I almost died but there are angels among us", said Chow pow when he looks at wher he was and where he is today.
